HIGH GRADE GOLD RESULTS CONFIRM CONTINUITY AT PERSEVERANCE: 24.7 METRES OF 11.76 G/T REDEMPTION JOINT VENTURE (“RJV”) PROJECT, WESTERN AUSTRALIA

June 19, 2007

EDMONTON, Alberta – Committee Bay Resources Ltd. (CBR: TSXV) (“Committee Bay” or the “Company”) and Australian Redemption Joint Venture (“RJV”) partner Focus Minerals Ltd. (FML: ASX) have received further high-grade results from the Perseverance gold deposit at the Coolgardie gold project in Western Australia.

Highlights from the in-fill and extensional drilling program at Perseverance include; 13 metres at 7.13g/t Au, 3 metres at 15.39g/t Au, 24.7 metres at 11.76g/t Au, 1.7 metres at 46.15g/t Au, 7.3 metres at 25.66g/t Au (See Tables 1 and 2 for full drill results and see Figures 1 and 2 for long section and planview maps of area).

“These latest excellent results continue to demonstrate continuity of grades and widths of the mineralized zones at Perseverance,” commented Committee Bay’s President and CEO, Mr. John Williamson. “This further reinforces the importance of the deposit to the Joint Venture’s development strategy.”

The Redemption Joint Venture has recently recommenced drilling at Perseverance, with several programs currently underway comprising approximately 5,500 metres of combined reverse circulation and diamond core drilling.

“There is significant potential both to extend the existing resource and to identify additional resources in close proximity by testing similar, largely untested EM conductors in the immediate area,” he added. “For all these reasons, we plan to focus on the delineation and development of this project during the remainder of 2007.”

The three objectives of these programs are to: 1. Infill drill the current Perseverance Inferred Resource, 2. Test for on-strike extensions, and 3. Continue to test prospective new EM targets such as P2 and Flagstaff.

  1. In-fill drilling will continue to better define the previously reported Inferred Resource at Perseverance of 300,000 tonnes at 9.4g/t Au for 89,600 contained ounces of gold. Due to the grade and proximity to existing underground infrastructure, the Perseverance deposit represents a priority focus for the RJV in terms of its development strategy for re-commencing gold production at Coolgardie.
  1. Continued drilling will test extensions to known Perseverance mineralization along strike to the south and north. Planned drilling will test for deeper down-plunge extensions to known mineralization along this contact to the south (see attached figure). Shallow drilling is planned to test the extent of the quartz-sulphide mineralization along this contact to the north which has been largely untested by historic drill holes.
  1. New drill targets have been identified using down-hole geophysical surveys during the delineation drilling of Perseverance. The P2 target was tested with recent drill hole (07PEC013 - 7.69 g/t Au over 3.0m) which intersected mineralization at shallow levels coincident with the P2 EM conductor (See Figure 2), which lies adjacent to, and parallel with, the conductor defining the main Perseverance quartz-sulphide lode.

The Flagstaff conductor target (See Figure 2), 400m east of Perseverance, will also be further tested due to the recently completed down-hole EM. This recent hole confirmed that the quartz-sulphide zone is the source of the conductor, and also identified an off-hole conductor, indicating that additional blind targets exist in the area.
